Cradle-Hall Nursery, Inverness have an opportunity for a Part-Time Nursery Practitioner.

No previous experience or childcare qualifications required as training will be given.

Cradle-Hall Nursery is a well-established, outstanding modern purpose-built nursery with excellent resources and a friendly, professional staff team.

We require someone to work 16 hours per week (11.30am to 2.30pm four days per week and 10.30am to 2.30pm one day per week). There will also be the opportunity for overtime hours.

PLEASE NOTE: THE NURSERY IS OPEN ALL YEAR.

There are excellent bus links and a car park.

Job Summary

As a Part-time Nursery Assistant, you will support the team to maintain a nurturing and engaging environment for young children. This role requires core skills in childcare, along with strong communication skills to effectively interact with children and parents. While no prior experience is needed, your enthusiasm and willingness to learn will be essential. You will support daily nursery experiences and contribute to the overall development and learning of children, ensuring they feel safe and valued.

Responsibilities

Assist in the daily care and supervision of children in the nursery setting. Support children's learning and development through engaging activities and play. Maintain a safe and clean environment for children to explore and learn. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to foster a positive atmosphere.
