Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate

Level 3 Practitioner

to join our team in Newport. This part-time position is ideal for individuals with a strong background in early childhood education and childcare. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to children, ensuring their safety and well-being while fostering their development through engaging activities.

The job will consist of

2 x 8am-6pm shifts per week = 19hrs

3 x 8am-6pm shifts per week = 28.5hrs

Duties

Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to create a supportive environment.

Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.

Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records of their achievements.

Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their social skills and emotional development.

Maintain a clean, safe, and stimulating environment for children to explore.

Requirements

Level 3 qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent.

Previous experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is essential. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

A genuine passion for childcare and early years education. -

Ability to drive initiatives that enhance children's learning experiences.

Knowledge of child development theories and practices is advantageous.
