We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and experience working with children in a nursery setting. This role involves providing high-quality care and education for young children, fostering their development through engaging activities, and ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
We are looking to employ a nursery practitioner for everyday 9.00-3.00, term time only
Responsibilities
Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote physical, emotional, and social development.
Supervise and engage with children during playtime, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication.
Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development, providing feedback to parents as necessary.
Collaborate with other staff members to create a supportive team environment that encourages professional growth.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the nursery setting.
Participate in training sessions to enhance skills in childcare and early childhood education.
Requirements
Proven experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is essential.
A qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent is highly desirable.
Strong management and leadership skills to guide junior staff members effectively.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
A genuine passion for childcare and the ability to create a stimulating learning environment.
