Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Part Time Playworker Leader to join our Welsh medium afterschool provision based in Ysgol Iolo Morgannwg, Cowbridge. This role involves overseeing play activities, managing staff, and ensuring a safe, engaging environment for children. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience in team management. Fluency in the Welsh language is essential. The working hours would be afterschool from 3.00-5.30pm Tuesday to Thursday.
Duties
Lead and supervise a team of playworkers to deliver high-quality recreational activities for children Coordinate daily schedules and ensure all activities adhere to safety standards Handle PR interactions with parents and guardians, ensuring positive experiences Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and enforce policies effectively
Experience
Strong organisational skills with experience in working with children Skilled in communication, and employee training Demonstrated ability to manage teams effectively while maintaining high standards of safety and service
This position offers an opportunity to lead a team within a supportive environment dedicated to helping children with their Welsh language but also creating a fun environment.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From 12.71 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 7.5 per week
