Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Play Worker to join our team at Preschool providing engaging and educational activities for children. The ideal candidate will have a passion for childcare and creating a safe, fun environment for young learners.
Duties
- Organise and supervise play activities for children
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues
- Manage the play area ensuring cleanliness and safety
- Utilise leadership skills to guide children in group activities
- Drive engagement and participation in play sessions
Requirements
- Proficient in English to effectively communicate with children and colleagues
- Experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles
- Ability to demonstrate leadership skills when interacting with children
- Nice-to-have: Previous experience working with children and relevant qualifications
Hours of Work
- Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 3pm-6pm
- Potential to increase hours to cover sickness and training.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: 12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 9 per week
