Primary Teacher (KS3) - Part-Time

Location:

Ramsden Hall Academy, Ramsden Heath, Billericay, Essex

Salary:

Main Pay Range (Actual Salary 18,842-25,465 pa) + SEN Allowance (2,679 pa FTE) + EDA Allowance (2,856 pa FTE)

Contract:

Permanent, Part-Time (56.15%, 18.25 hours per week)

Working Pattern:

Monday: 8:30am - 4:15pm Tuesday: 8:30am - 12:30pm Thursday: 8:30am - 12:30pm

Start Date:

As soon as possible / no later than 13 April 2026

About the Role

We are seeking a

qualified and enthusiastic Primary Teacher

to join our team, working with KS3 students and delivering a broad KS2 curriculum with a strong focus on mathematics. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

Ramsden Hall Academy is a Residential Special School for boys aged 10-16 with EHCPs for SEMH needs. We are proud to be rated Good by Ofsted, with our residential provision rated Outstanding.

What We're Looking For

A qualified teacher with experience in the primary curriculum Passion for supporting students with SEMH needs Strong classroom practice and positive behaviour management Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Knowledge of Trauma Perceptive Practice (TPP) or willingness to learn SEN/SEMH experience preferred A sense of humour and a commitment to teamwork
