Job Summary:

As an Online Primary School Teacher, you will be a fundamental part of shaping the educational journey of young students. Your role is to create an engaging and supportive virtual learning environment, delivering comprehensive lessons across various subjects to primary school students through online platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Curriculum Delivery:

- Plan and deliver effective KS2 lessons based on the school's curriculum and guidelines.

- Develop engaging and interactive materials to enhance students' understanding of historical events and concepts.

Classroom Management:

- Maintain a positive and inclusive online classroom environment.

- Manage students' behavior and ensure a conducive learning atmosphere.

Student Assessment:

- Evaluate students' knowledge and analytical skills through diverse assessment methods, such as quizzes, tests, and assignments.

- Provide constructive feedback and progress reports to students and their parents or guardians.

Individualised Support:

- Provide additional assistance to students needing help with historical concepts.

- Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to address individual students' needs.

Technology Proficiency:

- Be proficient in using Microsoft platforms and tools for virtual history lessons effectively.

- Ensure a stable internet connection and maintain a suitable working space at home for smooth online class delivery.

Professional Development:

- Stay current with best practices in online teaching and history education.

- Engage in professional development opportunities provided by the school.

Communication:

- Maintain clear and regular communication with students, parents, and school administrators.

- Address concerns or questions promptly and professionally. Utilise the school's online platform for communication and record-keeping.

Job Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Primary Education, Education, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).

- Teaching certification or relevant teaching experience.

- Strong command of Primary teaching concepts and effective communication skills.

- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office packages for lesson preparation, teaching, documentation, and communication with both staff and students.

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

- Patience and adaptability in a virtual teaching environment.

- Passion for education and a commitment to student success.

Must have a stable internet connection and a suitable working space at home for virtual teaching.
