Property Management - Duty Manager

Haven Court, Seaton. 17.5 hours per week (Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday)

About Us

Kingsdale Group

manages property on behalf of private residential leaseholders, the majority of whom are retired homeowners. Our aim is that every development we manage is attractively presented, well maintained, and staffed by friendly, helpful, and efficient people. We want each development that we manage to be a source of pride to those who live there.

We offer a management service to developments across the country and currently have a need to fill a vacancy in our retirement property, Haven Court in Seaton. The development has an owner's lounge, kitchen, guest suite, laundrette, lift, communal gardens and car parking.

The Role

As the Duty Manager you'll be reporting to the Court Manager and assisting with the day to day management by ensuring the building is secure, clean and attractively presented and in good general order, that the guest suite is well presented, monitoring the gardens, laundry and parking areas, recording utility meter readings and assisting with all safety checks.

Experience delivering excellent customer service

Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of workload using own initiative

Ability to build meaningful, professional relationships

Ability to remain calm in an ever-changing environment

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Good IT skills

Team player

Although not essential as training will be provided, a First Aid Certificate and knowledge of management specifically within a retirement living development would be advantageous.

Due to the nature of the organisation and the role, this post is subject to a DBS check

The Package

Permanent part time contract (subject to probation period)

20 days leave per year plus bank holidays pro rata
