Duties

Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs. Maintain an organised and visually appealing sales floor, ensuring that merchandise is displayed effectively. Process transactions accurately and efficiently at the point of sale. Respond to customer inquiries, providing knowledgeable information about products and services. Assist in inventory management, including stock replenishment and conducting regular stock checks. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and enhance overall store performance. Participate in training sessions to stay updated on product knowledge and sales techniques.

Experience

Previous experience in a retail or customer service environment is preferred but not essential. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers. A proactive approach to problem-solving, demonstrating initiative in addressing customer needs. Basic numeracy skills for handling transactions and managing inventory. Familiarity with point-of-sale systems is advantageous but not required as training will be provided.
