Are you looking to make a difference in the lives of others? Our rehabilitation service in the centre of Rotherham would like a friendly person to join our Wake Night team from 10pm to 8am.

The role:

We support individuals with an acquired brain injury to regain their skills, confidence and independence with the aim to return home or to more independent living. The successful applicant will assist individuals in developing a good sleep /wake cycle, offer reassurance and support overnight. This role also involves some personal care, cleaning duties and some paperwork to prepare the service for the next day.

About you:

We don't need people with vast care experience as comprehensive in-depth training and mentoring is provided. What we need is a variety of different types of people who are kind, grounded, proactive people who love working in a positive creative team.

The role is to cover 2 x 10 hour night shifts per week, with the option to pick up overtime to cover night staff annual leave or additional day shifts. (A full-time Rehabilitation Support Worker role is also available for 33 hours if preferred.)

The ideal candidate would be happy both working on their own and within a team, be proactive and have a good sense of humour.

Please note mandatory training will be held during day time hours.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.60 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
