Background:



Sanctus is a Chelmsford-based charity offering vital support to individuals facing poverty, homelessness, addiction, poor mental health and social isolation. Through our welcoming cafe space, compassionate casework services, and wide range of inhouse services, we aim to uplift and empower every person who walks through our doors.

Role summary:



Are you a passionate connector with a flair for organising memorable events and building meaningful relationships? Sanctus is on the lookout for a creative, flexible and enthusiastic Partnership and Events Coordinator to energise our fundraising efforts through vibrant events and community engagement.

This part-time role (21 hours per week) involves bringing people together to create positive change. You'll lead on planning and delivering fundraising events, connect with local businesses and groups, and helping to amplify our message throughout the community.

Plan, promote and manage engaging fundraising events Build and maintain strong relationships with local businesses and community stakeholders Promote, encourage and assist individual supporters and local businesses, in running their own events to raise funds for Sanctus Develop creative fundraising campaigns to inspire support and participation Leverage the benefits of our new Contributor Relations Management software to increase our fundraising potential Represent Sanctus at community functions and networking events Coach and support volunteers and staff attending events to optimise the number of donations made Work collaboratively with the wider team to align fundraising with our mission.
You will work closely with our CEO, Social Media Coordinators and the rest of our team to gain an insight into the workings of the cafe, Support Hub and the current need.

You must be aligned with our charities ethos and be open minded to the diverse range of service users that we support.

Required Background:



Experience in event planning or community fundraising Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Self-starter with great organisational ability and attention to detail Compassionate mindset and commitment to social impact Comfortable networking and cultivating supporter relationships Experience of developing and maintaining positive working relationships with key stakeholders across multiple organisations.
