To lead on the set up, development and delivery of the Prescot Support Lounge in Prescot Shopping Centre.
You will play a pivotal role bringing together delivery partners in sharing a space and working collaboratively. The coordinator will lead on identifying and engaging partners to be actively part of this innovative development, specifically:
Mapping local partners and provision for local Prescot people and in neighbouring areas of Huyton and St. Helens (the A58 corridor)
Reaching out and engaging those partners who could be part of the Lounge Partnership to inspire them to the vision for the lounge and identify how they could contribute to the overall delivery offer.
Negotiating financial terms on which they can operate out of the hub (e.g. hot desks) and their level of commitment.
Ensuring there is a broad range of services being offered so as to provide a genuine 'one-stop' customer experience.
Develop and publish a monthly 'calendar of events' delivered by Lounge partners.
To lead on all promotion and publicity and social media strategies for the Lounge and to ensure regular and relevant communications happen.
To specifically develop a model and programme of partnership support that targets the following client groups and needs.
Employment and personal development support for key target groups of unemployed, economically inactive and people with health conditions. (e.g. Knowsley Works, Evolving Mindsets, MEH)
Consumer and financial advice (eg. Citizens Advice, Credit Union)
Foster, establish and develop relationships with local colleges, University and other learning / training providers on a hot-desk / pay for space basis. (eg. Knowsley Community College)
To identify and secure rental / hire / usage opportunities (egg. renting the training room to local organisations for meetings and events, or delivery of training)
To identify and establish strategic relationships with local organisations who can add value and further the development of the Lounge (eg. Shakespeare North providing complementary space for awards evening etc.)
To be the
key
member of MEH management team on-site, with a visible presence overseeing and monitoring daily operations (eg. ensure the Lounge is open at agreed set times). To respond to, and resolve, practical issues to ensure continuity and smooth running of the facility.
To contribute to the delivery of MEH programmes on-site (eg. UKSPF Paths to Prosperity)
To work to our 3-year delivery plan (agreed with our key funder, The National Lottery Community Fund) with particular attention to maximising the sustainability of the project, both during, and following, the initial 3-year funding period.
To coordinate our relationship with The National Lottery Community Fund and complete and comply with reporting requirements and support the Support Lounge Steering Group.

Skills Required:
Skills and experience in a partnership role within the voluntary and community, or relevant, sector. (E)
Design and delivery of multi-faceted support to clients in one of the following areas: employment, skills, health & wellbeing (E)
Proven strong people skills and proven experience of bringing people together, with a personal style that is incisive, engaging and collaborative (E)
Project / programme management experience and track record. (E)
Knowledge of the local area and issues and challenges for local people, but also the opportunities (D)
Business development / fundraising experience (D)
