The Role

P&O Cruises Sales and Marketing team are looking to welcome a Partnership Development Manager to provide account management support for a defined portfolio of development travel agent partners, including development of revenue streams and maximisation of all business opportunities within those agencies.

This exciting role requires travel across Scotland, North East England and Northern Ireland to meet with clients in your portfolio.

You will:

  • Proactively seek, evaluate and build new partnership opportunities to broaden the distribution model for P&O Cruises.
  • Define the business plans to ensure growth plans and success KPIs for P&O Cruises are met, whilst maintaining senior relationships within your portfolio of travel agent partners and taking direction from the Business Manager.
  • Take account for the commercial approach in maintaining and growing strategic relationships, using own initiative when making decisions and in negotiations based upon defined strategies and guidelines.
  • Develop and monitor tactical sales plans to meet profit targets, and ensure the delivery of these plans
  • Manage monthly budget reconciliation process of overseeing all accruals and forecasts for defined agencies
Our role categories range from CUK15 (entry level) to CUK1 (Brand President) so you can clearly see internal development opportunities. This role is a CUK08 and is offered on a full time, fixed term contract basis (12 month FTC). We operate a Hybrid working pattern, with two days from home and 3 days expected to be travelling geographically to meet with clients in your portfolio, predominantly across Scotland and the North East England, with occasional travel to Northern Ireland.

About You
Fresh ideas and different perspectives are what excite us most and help us to succeed. Alongside bringing these to the role, you\'ll also need:
  • Experience working in a sales environment covering account management within the Travel sector
  • To be based in the North East or Scotland
  • Marketing experience, in particular direct mail, press or online
  • Proven track record in delivering return on spend and achieving targets
  • Trade relationship management
  • In depth knowledge of IT packages including Excel,Word, Power Point
