INTRODUCTION

  • To promote the business of Adult Learning Lewisham (ALL) to a wider community of local and national organisations delivering employment pathways for adults with disabilities.
  • To actively develop external partnerships to create employment pathways for adults with learning disabilities and across other curriculum areas on behalf of ALL.
  • To co-ordinate the process of cross service Staff Training and Development to support the delivery of ALL\'s key objectives.
Do you have knowledge of adult and community education and be able to identify need to promote learning and supported employment pathways? Are you able to plan and monitor training opportunities for staff across ALL to ensure a highly qualified workforce?

What\'s the role ?

This role is to support ALL learners to access learning opportunities and promote progression pathways for learners with learning disabilities so to continue with their learning journey and reach their full potential. The role also includes co-ordinating and arranging a programme of training for ALL staff across the service to ensure a fully qualified and up to date workforce and that records are kept up to date.

What we\'re looking for

You will have excellent organisational and communication skills being able to lead on identifying new areas of development especially relevant to the needs of supported employment opportunities. You will be able to promote learning in the workplace for ALL employees and keep up to date records to ensure training is relevant and up to date. This role will require being able to support and work with a diverse range of people to ensure that there is an embedded culture of continuous improvement across the service.

Location

The job is primarily based in Brockley Rise Adult Learning Centre but we operate a hybrid approach where you will be required to work both in the office and from home on a regular basis.

Special conditions
  • Occasional evening and weekend working maybe required for this role
  • The job is subject to an enhanced DBS check

Salary

\xc2\xa338, 934 - \xc2\xa340, 502 (PO1) per annum

N.B: All appointments will be offered at the minimum spinal column point (SCP) for the grade of the role. The only exception to this will be when matching current salary (up to the maximum of the scale), which is subject to evidential proof.
