Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Parts Advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our customers receive the right parts for their needs while providing exceptional service. This position requires strong organisational skills, effective communication abilities, and a keen attention to detail. As a Parts Advisor, you will be the first point of contact for customers seeking assistance with parts inquiries and orders.

Duties

Assist customers in identifying and ordering the correct parts for their machinery. Communicate effectively with customers over the phone and in person, providing clear information regarding parts availability and specifications. Utilise Excel to track inventory data and generate reports as needed. Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette while handling customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operations within the parts department. Stay updated on new products and industry trends to provide informed recommendations to customers. Ensure that the parts area is well-organised and clean, contributing to a professional environment.

Experience

Previous experience in a similar role within the garden machinery equipment industry is advantageous but not essential. Strong organisational skills with the ability to maintain accurate records and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on customer service. Proficiency in using Excel for data management is preferred. A positive attitude and willingness to learn about new products and services will contribute to your success in this role.
