We're looking for a
Parts Assistant
to join our aftersales team - supporting our Citroen, Peugeot, Fiat, and Abarth service departments. You may or may not have worked in parts before, if you're a fast learner with a team spirit and a passion for the motor trade, we'd love to hear from you.
Your Role:
As
Parts Assistant
, you'll be the key link between our workshop, manufacturer partners, and suppliers. Working with the Parts Manager you will be supporting parts administration, stock handling, and ordering. With the right attitude, we can train you on the parts side - but a working knowledge or strong interest in automotive parts or mechanical systems will really help you succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with parts inquiries and provide recommendations
Monitor stock levels and assist with stock replenishment
Receive, process, and dispatch parts orders efficiently
Accurately identify and locate parts from catalogues and system databases
Communicate with suppliers to order parts and track deliveries
Report stock issues and assist with department organisation
Assist with stock takes
What You'll Need:
Previous experience in a dealership or automotive environment (parts or admin) is ideal
Good administrative and IT skills (Excel, Pinewood/CDK or similar DMS experience is a plus)
Excellent attention to detail and time management
A team-oriented, customer-first attitude
A genuine interest in vehicles, parts, or how things work mechanically
Willingness to learn the parts process if not already familiar
