An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Parts Assistant to join the team, within our busy parts department.
The position is based at our Derby depot. As Parts Assistant you will help to support the entire Butler Reynolds parts operation (East and West Midlands); supplying both external customers and our internal service department.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Parts Advisor looking to be part of a long-established dealership, with opportunities for growth and progression within.
Responsibilities of our Parts assistant will include:
Liaising with customers both on the telephone and face to face, to assist in identifying and sourcing parts
Handling customer enquires swiftly, courteously and efficiently
Ensuring parts are correctly ordered to specification and checked on arrival
Being familiar with our stock and products available
Following up with customers on progress of spare parts requirements
Maintaining a tidy parts department and workstation
Assisting the Parts Manager with twice yearly stock takes
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
Experience working in a parts department or wholesale goods distribution
Be able to work independently and as part of a team
Be self-motivated, and have the ability to work with minimum supervision
Maintain a confident and professional manner
Have effective communication skills
Be computer literate
