Hours: Monday-Thursday, 9:00am-3:00pm

Contract: All year (incl. 5.6 weeks holiday)

Pay: 12.21 per hour

About the Role

We are looking for a kind, patient and proactive person to join our friendly team at Kipling Lions Preschool.

You will provide 1:1 support for preschool children with additional needs, helping them to thrive in a nurturing, play-based environment.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys supporting children's learning, emotional development, and independence, and who takes pride in making a real difference in their early years.

Key Responsibilities

Provide consistent 1:1 support tailored to each child's individual needs

Assist with daily routines, activities, and transitions

Support children with communication, emotional regulation, and social interaction

Work collaboratively with the SENCO and other professionals to implement support plans

Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging environment for all children

What We're Looking For

Experience working with young children (SEN experience desirable but not essential)

A caring, patient, and flexible approach

Good communication and teamwork skills

A genuine enthusiasm for supporting children's development

A DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

Willing to complete early years/SENCO training
