Purpose of Role


We are recruiting a proactive and detail-focused Administrator to join our team at Army HQ in Andover as part of a new Defence sector contract. This role is ideal for someone with strong organisational skills, a confident communication style, and a background in administration.


As the Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the operational delivery team, helping ensure services run smoothly and efficiently. Your input will directly contribute to the success of the contract through effective coordination and communication across internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities


Coordinate and manage helpdesk requests and service updates. Raise and track purchase orders for plant, equipment, and materials. Support invoicing processes, ensuring timely and accurate submission of costs. Maintain and update internal spreadsheets, including reporting templates and trackers. Assist with the preparation of monthly performance and operational reports. Liaise with site teams and management to ensure smooth flow of information. General administrative support, including document control, filing, and meeting coordination.

Essential Qualifications/Skills


Proven administrative experience, preferably in a facilities, construction, or service-led environment Confident Excel skills, including use of filters and basic formulas A proactive and organised approach to managing multiple tasks. Clear and professional communication skills. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting. Willingness to undergo a background check due to the secure nature of the site.
