Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, spirits, and non-alcoholic drinks, in accordance with standard recipes and customer preferences. Greet guests warmly, take orders accurately, and serve drinks promptly while maintaining excellent customer service standards. Ensure the bar area is clean, organised, and compliant with food safety regulations at all times. Check identification to verify legal drinking age and monitor guest behaviour to promote responsible service. Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system and manage tabs efficiently. Restock bar supplies as needed and assist with inventory management. Maintain a friendly and professional demeanour, creating a lively yet safe environment for all patrons.

Qualifications

Previous experience in hospitality or as a bartender is preferred. Strong knowledge of responsible alcohol service practices. Excellent serving skills with the ability to engage with diverse customers confidently. Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple orders efficiently during busy periods. Basic maths skills to handle cash and card transactions accurately. Proven time management skills to ensure timely service without compromising quality. A personable attitude with excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
