Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cafe Assistant to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our customers while assisting with various operational tasks within the cafe. This position is perfect for individuals who are passionate about hospitality and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers with their orders. Prepare and serve food and beverages in accordance with food safety standards. Assist in catering events, ensuring that all requirements are met for a successful service. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the cafe, including dining areas and food preparation zones. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently. Support with food preparation tasks, ensuring high-quality standards are upheld.

Experience

Previous experience in a cafe or restaurant setting is preferred but not essential; training will be provided. Familiarity with catering services and food safety practices is advantageous. A background in hospitality will be considered a plus. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. A proactive attitude towards helping others and providing outstanding service.

Pay: 7.55-12.21 per hour
