Overview:
We're seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our team as a Commis. you'd be assisting our chefs during service, working a section, prepping and general cleaning. The role is approximately 20-25 hours per week including evenings & weekends although extra hours will be available to cover holidays. Our chefs will tell you that there is no other Kitchen with as much positivity and good feel atmosphere as our kitchen so please enquire with confidence.
Duties:
- Assisting in food preparation and working a section
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, equipment, and kitchen areas
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations during service
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards at all times
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a kitchen or restaurant setting is essential
- Knowledge of basic culinary techniques and food preparation methods
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Willingness to learn, be positive in a great working environment.
