Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handy Man to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be adept in various maintenance tasks, ensuring that all repairs and installations are completed to a high standard. This role requires excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to read schematics, and familiarity with electrical systems and logic controllers. The Handy Man will also demonstrate leadership qualities and provide exceptional customer service while working independently or supervising others.

Responsibilities

Perform general maintenance and repair tasks across various facilities. Conduct electrical repairs and installations, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Weld components as needed for repairs or modifications. Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot issues effectively. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition. Supervise junior staff or contractors during projects, providing guidance and support. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide excellent customer service. Document completed work and report any additional issues to management.

Qualifications

Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in maintenance and repair work. Proficiency in welding techniques is desirable. Strong understanding of electrical systems, including the ability to work with logic controllers. Ability to read schematics and technical drawings accurately. Excellent leadership skills with experience in supervising teams or projects. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Proficient in English, both written and verbal, for effective communication with clients and team members. A customer-focused attitude with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
