About the Role
We're looking for a proactive and organised
Part-Time Marketing Assistant
to support the growth of a personal brand and business through consistent content planning, social media management, and booking opportunities (podcasts, events, speaking, networking).
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys social media strategy, has great attention to detail, and can take initiative while working independently.
Key Responsibilities
1. Social Media Research, Strategy & Planning
Research trends, competitor content, and viral formats across platforms
Support with content planning and creating a simple monthly content schedule
Identify post ideas, hooks, topics, and themes aligned with the brand voice
Suggest improvements based on engagement and performance
2. Monthly Video Shoot Support
Assist with planning the monthly video filming session (topics, structure, priorities)
Help organise content ideas into a shoot plan (what gets filmed + when)
Ensure key content is captured efficiently during the session
Research relevant podcasts, networking events, panels, and speaking opportunities
Reach out to organisers/hosts with professional pitches and follow-ups
Track outreach, responses, and confirmed bookings
Maintain a simple pipeline tracker of opportunities
4. Inbox & Social Platform Management
Monitor and manage inbox messages across social platforms
Respond to basic enquiries using templates (or flag important messages)
Keep communication organised and ensure nothing is missed
Escalate leads or priority messages quickly
Skills & Experience (Ideal)
Confident using Instagram + social media platforms professionally
Strong written communication skills and attention to detail
Organised, reliable, and able to manage tasks without close supervision
Comfortable researching and making recommendations
Bonus: experience using Canva, Meta Business Suite, Monday.com, or Google Drive
What You'll Need

(or travel to off site shoot)
Availability across the month for flexible support (50-60 hours total)
What Success Looks Like
Social content planning is consistent and organised month-to-month
Podcast/event opportunities are regularly being sourced and booked
Social inbox is well-managed and leads are not missed
The monthly video shoot runs smoothly with clear structure and output
