We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that promotes the development and well-being of young children.
Duties
Provide high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
Plan and implement engaging activities that promote learning through play, fostering children's physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development.
Maintain effective communication with parents and guardians, providing updates on children's progress and addressing any concerns.
Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive team environment, demonstrating strong leadership and management skills.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and nursery policies, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation within the nursery setting.
Support children in their daily routines, including meal times, nappy changing, and personal hygiene.
Observe and assess children's development, keeping accurate records to track progress and inform future planning.
Experience
A recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education is preferable.
Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is highly desirable.
Strong communication skills in English are required to effectively engage with children, parents, and colleagues.
Experience in management or leadership roles within a childcare environment would be advantageous.
