Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Welsh language Play Worker to join our team in providing a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for children. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and the ability to foster their development through play and structured activities. This role is essential in supporting children's social, emotional, and physical growth while ensuring their safety and well-being. The post is a part time position based at Ysgol Iolo Morgannwg from Tues - Thurs 3.30-5.30pm. Welsh speaker essential.
Duties
Supervise and engage with children during playtime, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment. Maintain a clean and organised play area, ensuring all equipment is safe and suitable for use. Assist in managing behaviour by implementing positive reinforcement strategies. Encourage children to use the Welsh language throughout the sessions

Job Type: Part-time
Expected hours: 2 - 6 per week
Education:
GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
Language:
Welsh (required)
