Part-time Retail Sales Assistant

Hadfield Road, Cardiff

Pay:

12.21 per hour (age 21+)/10 per hour
Salary range 25,397 (pro rata) / 20,800 (pro rata)

Days:

3 days a week - Thursday, Friday and Saturday

Hours:

8am - 5pm with an hour for lunch (unpaid)

We're looking for an enthusiastic Part-Time Retail Assistant to join the team at Direct Tile Warehouse in Cardiff. You'll be helping both retail and trade customers in a varied role within a lively, supportive environment - ideal if you enjoy working with people and being part of a team.

About Us

Direct Tile Warehouse has been supplying high-quality wall and floor tiles for over 45 years. Our Cardiff showroom, based on Hadfield Road near the Leckwith roundabout, is known for its wide product range, competitive prices, and friendly, knowledgeable staff.

Key responsibilities:

Supporting the daily running of the sales counter, providing excellent customer service, and assisting customers with tile selections Organising products on display shelves and ensuring the showroom is tidy and welcoming Handling, lifting, and moving products safely

Skills and qualities we're looking for:

Experience in retail or trade sales Great customer service skills Basic IT skills A reliable, positive, and proactive approach Willingness to pitch in and help the team Some lifting will be required, so a reasonable level of physical fitness is required An interest in tiles or interior design would be a bonus

Working hours and benefits:
