Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests promptly, providing menus and offering assistance as needed. Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all requests are communicated to the kitchen staff. Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while maintaining high standards of presentation. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns or requests promptly. Upsell menu items and specials to enhance the guest experience and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations. Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene standards during food preparation and serving. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely delivery of orders.

Skills

Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing bills accurately. Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods. Experience in food preparation or kitchen roles is an advantage. Culinary experience is beneficial for understanding menu items and ingredients. Exceptional guest service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour. Ability to upsell menu items effectively while maintaining guest satisfaction.
