We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our dynamic team in delivering exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and a keen eye for detail, ensuring that every guest receives attentive and courteous service. Previous restaurant experience is preferred, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are equally important. The Server will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere throughout their shift.
Duties
Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special dietary requirements are noted
Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
Provide knowledgeable recommendations to upsell menu items and maximise sales opportunities
Ensure all health and safety standards, including food safety protocols, are adhered to at all times
Clear tables efficiently and reset for new guests in a timely manner
Assist with basic food preparation when required, supporting kitchen staff as needed
Maintain cleanliness of the service area, including tables, utensils, and condiments
Handle guest queries professionally, resolving issues promptly to ensure satisfaction
Collaborate effectively with team members to deliver seamless service throughout the shift
Qualifications
Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is advantageous but not essential; a positive attitude and eagerness to learn are key
Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation skills are desirable
Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities
Good communication skills with the ability to engage with guests courteously
Basic maths skills for handling bills and payments accurately
Experience working in busy kitchen environments or culinary settings is beneficial
A friendly demeanour with a genuine passion for guest services and creating memorable dining experiences
