Overview

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented and technically skilled WordPress/Elementor professional to maintain and optimise our website. This role involves ongoing site maintenance to ensure seamless web operations, optimising our website infrastructure, technical fixes, content updates, creating new pages and implementing advanced stylised changes that go beyond day-to-day edits.

You will work closely with our marketing team to ensure all updates are implemented accurately, the website continues to run smoothly, reflects our brand, and effectively supports our services. In addition, you will provide recommendations for improvements and deliver monthly reporting to keep the site in top condition.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in web development, system architecture, and various programming languages and tools. This position offers flexible hours suitable for individuals passionate about web technology and digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Perform regular maintenance, updates, and security patches on WordPress sites to ensure optimal performance and security. Maintain and update all aspects of the website using WordPress and Elementor Implement advanced stylised/custom changes that require technical expertise Create new pages or update existing pages as needed Keep WordPress core, themes, and plugins up to date and secure Create wireframes and user flows to enhance UX/UI design; support web design projects aligned with SEO best practices. Monitor website analytics and data visualization tools to optimize user experience and site performance. Provide recommendations for improvements to enhance functionality, user experience, and performance.

Reporting & Accountability

You will be expected to provide a monthly summary/report, which may include:

Website health status Updates and maintenance completed Issues identified and resolved Key metrics (e.g., performance, uptime, basic SEO indicators) Recommendations for improvements for the following month

Essential Criteria

Extensive experience maintaining WordPress websites using Elementor Strong technical skills for functionality, design, and stylised updates Proven ability to create and maintain professional, polished pages Reliable, organised, and able to provide consistent monthly reporting

Desirable

Understanding of SEO best practices (on-page optimisation, site structure, performance) Familiarity with Google Analytics and Google Search Console Experience maintaining professional service or healthcare-related websites
