We have a vacancy for a new position within our Passenger Transport Department as the ITU Passenger Transport Depot Supervisor. The role is based in the office environment within the Councils Passenger Transport Depot in Tiers Cross.

The position will be responsible for all aspects relating to the operational delivery of in-house passenger transport services and oversight of all Fleet operations in relation to passenger transport vehicles. Supervisory responsibility for a team of Bus Drivers, Passenger Attendants and the Passenger Transport Depot Co-ordinator. To ensure drivers and vehicles meet the optimum standards required by the DVSA.

The successful candidate will also take an active role in transport planning, risk assessments and timetabling and will need have a full PCV (D) license or be willing to work towards this to enable them to cover any driving duties on a relief basis. They will also be involved in recruitment and selection of staff, performance management, identifying training need and managing sickness absence.

They will also be required to participate in an on call rota to respond to occasional emergencies outside of normal working hours.

The ITU Passenger Transport Depot Supervisor is Salary Grade 8 36,363 - 40,777 pa (based on 37hrs per week).
