Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Pasta Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and meal preparation, with a keen understanding of food safety standards. As a Pasta Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious dishes that meet our high standards and satisfy our customers' tastes. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Duties

Prepare and cook high-quality meals according to established recipes and menu specifications. Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are maintained throughout the kitchen. Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support during meal preparation. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and place orders as necessary to ensure availability. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during busy periods. Help train new kitchen staff in culinary techniques and food safety practices.

Skills

Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices. Proficient in meal preparation techniques with experience in a restaurant or culinary setting. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also demonstrating leadership skills when necessary. Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously under pressure. Creativity in developing new dishes and enhancing existing recipes. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with kitchen and front-of-house teams. A passion for culinary arts and commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences.

Pay: 12.21-14.00 per hour
