Pastry Chef - Canary Wharf

We are looking for a skilled Pastry Chef to join our team in Canary Wharf,


Job Details:

Hours: 40 hours per week Schedule: Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities:

Managing daily pastry production and retail orders Preparing a variety of baked goods, including granola, muffins, tarts, brownies, whole cakes, loaf cakes, and plated desserts Prepare and manage large-scale dessert production and oversee bread preparation for multiple dining outlets. Conducting weekly stock takes and ensuring efficient kitchen organization Leading and mentoring the pastry team, ensuring high standards and consistency

Required Skills & Experience:

Leadership experience in a pastry kitchen (hotels or corporate environments) Ability to give clear feedback and guide team members Strong time management and organizational skills Skilled in whole cake production, chocolate work, and plating

Personality & Work Ethic:

Positive attitude and adaptability to a corporate environment A team player with a willingness to learn from others Creative but able to accept and apply feedback Flexible, efficient, and able to multitask in a fast-paced kitchen
