College of Medicine and Veterinary Medicine / Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies



Part-time: 17.5 hours per week (Wednesday afternoon, Thursday and Friday all day)

The Sample Reception of Easter Bush Pathology is looking for an individual to join its reception team.



The Opportunity:



This is a wonderful opportunity for a receptionist to work part-time (0.5FTE) in the Sample Reception area of Easter Bush Pathology. Working hours include Wednesday afternoons only, and Thursdays and Fridays all day . The appointee will work in a small receptionist team, which is responsible for the timely distribution of diagnostic and research samples to 3 busy laboratories and a necropsy unit, supporting the work of 5 hospitals, research and teaching activity in the Veterinary School. This is an excellent opportunity to support us in further enhancing our reputation as a specialist Veterinary Pathology Unit.



Your skills and attributes for success:



Excellent time management.

Basic understanding of the work carried out by a Pathology unit.

Excellent verbal and written communication.

Computer literate.

Ability to problem solve and work on own initiative.

Excellent customer service, friendly and professional manner at all times.
