We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Patient Care Advisor to support the the Group.

Job Purpose:
As a Patient Care Advisor (PCA), you will be the first point of contact for our organisation. You will welcome guests and greet people who visit the practice and provide reception/administrative support to the Group working flexibly within agreed procedures and protocols. You will coordinate front-desk activities, including distributing correspondence and redirecting phone calls. You will have frequent contact with patients, doctors, nurses, secondary care and other external partners as well as working behind the scenes to ensure all auditable administrative tasks are completed in a timely manner.
Duties:
Under the general direction of the Patient Care Team Leader and Admin Manager the post holder will be expected to undertake the following responsibilities:
Represent the Group as the first point of contact at the front desk.
Dealing with all telephone and face to face enquiries and requests.
Provide a range of administrative support including records management, referral processing, secretarial support to the group ensuring an efficient and effective service is maintained and workload prioritised.
Book appointments for GPs, nurses, healthcare support workers, phlebotomists, physiotherapists etc. both remotely and in the practice.
Maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times.
Adhere to HLMG policies and procedures.
