Job Description

To lead patient safety as a member of the Secured Services Turnaround team for Nottinghamshire and Lincoln Prisons and ensure that safety is prioritised and implemented in line with national guidance and the Trust's contractual requirements.

The post holder will, but not limited to:

Support the daily management of patient safety processes and effectively manage the investigation of patient safety incidents that occur within Offender Healthcare & Forensics in line with requirements of the NHS Patient Safety Incident Response Framework (PSIRF). Support the on-going development of an open and honest culture, working collaboratively as needed with the freedom to speak up guardian and HR colleagues. Support the Trust to implement and deliver PSIRF and collaborate with relevant services to facilitate and embed learning from patient safety incidents.
