Patient Services Team Member
Job Description
We are currently seeking a reliable, resilient, hard-working and organised Part-Time employee to join our Patient services team .This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a healthcare setting and is looking to make a positive difference in the local community.
Main duties of the job
Ensuring patient queries are dealt with efficiently and effectively whether by online, phone or in person
Ensuring calls are answered promptly and in line with practice protocols
Ensuring all requests for appointments both routine and emergency are signposted correctly
To process repeat prescription requests
To advise patients re lab results as directed
Provide annual leave and sickness cover where required
About us
We are a practice of 7500 patients situated in the Boughton Heath area of Chester. We have a clinical team of GPs, ANPs and Practice Nurses delivering high quality health care. The practice is one of four in the Chester East Primary Care Network (PCN). We work closely with our PCN colleagues and are further developing our workforce as a group. The PCN has recently employed a team of Care coordinators, clinical pharmacists, and a Pharmacy Technician. We also have Mental Health and Social Prescribing Link workers.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: Up to 12.21 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 20 per week
Work Location: In person
