In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring premises, conducting patrols, responding to incidents, and ensuring that security protocols are upheld at all times. About the Role:





As a Patrolling Officer! you will be responsible for:


Meeting and greeting of visitors and guests in a professional and friendly manner Site security patrols Conducting access control and badge verifications Loading bay duties Acting as First Aider and Fire marshal To ensure that all appropriate SIA Licences are always on display while at work Any additional reasonable duties requested by operational management Provide a highly visible proactive security presence on and around the sites with emphasis on access and egress controls. Monitoring of CCTV systems -- review, record and escalate incidents, fault finding and reporting. Monitoring of BMS, Fire & Security alarm system panel, inclusive of intruder systems. Internal emergency hub/contact point for escalation to external emergency services Report on instances where property may be at risk on site (Theft, Damage etc). Operate stop and search policies when instructed by the Site Team Leader. Carry out initial investigations and report both verbally and in writing on incidents, suspicious activities, objects and vehicles. Perform instructed locking and unlocking duties. Ensure keys are controlled in accordance with procedures laid down in the Assignment Instructions and the Standard Operational Procedures. Enforce the display of Access passes in accordance with best practices of customer service and care

Exceptional Customer service skills and verbal communication Enthusiastic professional approach Be punctual and reliable A team player and have good personal presentation Flexible approach to their work Appropriate knowledge of security operations Good working knowledge of IT systems Demonstrate the ability to think and act quickly in emergencies or under pressure Have an ability to deliver written reports where necessary Maintain a high standard of personal presentation Demonstrate reliability including the ability to deliver high standards of both punctuality and attendance in order to ensure team effectiveness and availability Able to demonstrate an ability to work as part of a team.
