to join our fast-paced payroll team. The role involves end-to-end payroll processing for multiple clients, ensuring payrolls are processed accurately, on time, and in line with current legislation.
You will be responsible for day-to-day payroll tasks, working closely with colleagues and clients, and supporting the smooth delivery of payroll and pension services across our client base.
Key Responsibilities
Processing payrolls for a portfolio of clients
Setting up starters and processing leavers
Processing Attachments of Earnings (AOEs) and Direct Earnings Attachments (DEAs)
Handling statutory payments (SSP, SMP, SPP, etc.)
Uploading pension contributions to the relevant pension provider dashboards
Producing payroll reports and payslips
Assisting with payroll queries from clients and colleagues
Skills & Experience
Minimum
1 year's payroll experience
(bureau experience desirable but not essential)
Good understanding of payroll processes and statutory payments
Good understanding of workplace pensions
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to manage deadlines in a busy environment
Confident using payroll software and Excel
Professional and clear communication skills
Pay, Hours & Benefits
Hours: 30 hours per week to be completed between Monday to Friday, 8:45am - 4:45pm (30-minute lunch break)
Hybrid working - once trained, half the time in the office and half working from home

Holiday: 4.5 weeks annual leave, plus an additional day off for your birthday
