to join our busy Payroll & Bookkeeping Department in Dungannon.
The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of payroll processing for a portfolio of clients across a range of business sectors.
Key duties / responsibilities:
Enter and maintain employee information, deductions, and earnings
Calculate wages, salaries, overtime, commissions, and bonuses
Process payroll for multiple clients, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to tight deadlines
Handle employee queries resolve any payroll-related issues promptly and professionally
Process returns to pension providers
Prepare and submit CIS returns
Criteria
Essential
Previous experience processing payroll in a busy environment
Strong attention to detail
Good verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work to strict deadlines
Desirable
Accounting Technician qualification or equivalent
B Grade in GCSE Maths and English
Two years' experience in payroll role in a busy environment
Experience of using computerised financial packages (e.g. Xero, Sage, Brightpay)
