Your Coop are looking for a Payroll Administrator to join our society. We're a multi-business group operating in Food Retail, Childcare, Travel, Post Office and Utilities, meaning you will get a breadth of multi-sector experience in a complex and fast-moving organisation. No two days will ever be the same!
Please note this is a Fixed Term Contract from the 7th July to 29th August

What you'll be doing:
Work to strict deadlines to ensure payment to colleagues in a timely and accurate manner
Processing of timecard & HR data received form the Societies systems
Processing of various tax information forms correctly (i.e. P45s)
Processing of third party adjustments (i.e. Credit Union, USDAW)
Providing absence cover for other members of staff in the team
Be the jobholder will often be the first point of contact for colleagues and their managers, with administration and general payroll queries, and will need to provide a polite and efficient service to colleagues and managers.

Who are we looking for?
Organise and prioritise own workload to ensure deadlines and service standards are met
Be able to work well with other team members to ensure that essential administrative functions are delivered to agreed customer service standards
Have high level of computer literacy skills and with excellent attention to detail
Be available for the full duration of the temporary contract with no annual leave (7th July to 29th August)
Maintain a high level of confidentiality and ensure that data is processed in line with GDPR legislation
