We now have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Payroll professional to join our team based at our Willows Farm Day Nursery in London Colney, on a full time, permanent contract. The position is 40hrs per week, Monday to Friday. It will initially be 5days per week in the office, until fully trained at the end of the 6 month probation period, then we can look at a hybrid model of 3 x days in office, and 2 x days from home.

Role Description:



As the Payroll Administrator, you will provide vital support to Farm Day Nurseries by administering and coordinating end-to-end processes, ensuring accurate record maintenance within the ADP system. This role will involve collecting, calculating, and processing payroll data and resolving potential issues across the administrative function, requiring excellent customer service skills and attention to detail, as well as a solid understanding of GDPR. We are looking for a quick learner who can work collaboratively with our Head Office team and our Nursery Management team.

Responsibilities:



Manage end-to-end payroll processes for all employees within the ADP system, ensuring accurate data for outsourced payroll and pension providers. Coordinate a variety of payroll actions in accordance with fixed deadlines and governance requirements. Manage and supporting the team with queries, questions and requests regarding employees pay, payslips, our T&A system, resetting accounts and general questions relating to the payroll process. Add new starters to the systems, leavers, job/salary changes, entitlements, and benefits for a smooth onboarding experience. Process various pension schemes and assist employees with pension-related queries. Assist employees in producing reference letters required for Visa applications, mortgage applications, and employment references. Produce monthly reports relating to payroll for our Directors and accountants

Essential experience:



Experience in Payroll (min 1 year). Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under deadlines. Proficiency in IT and Excel numeracy skills. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Continuous process improvement mindset.

Desirable experience:



A recognised Payroll qualification (CPP, CPM, FPC, PCP, CPS) Experience using ADP systems
