We're recruiting an experienced

Payroll Administrator

who is friendly, adaptable, and confident in managing a range of payroll and administrative duties for Chartwells.


This is a

part-time, term-time only role

, contracted to

24 hours per week

across

4 days

.


You'll play a vital part in ensuring our payroll processes run smoothly and accurately, and you'll be supported to grow within a company that invests in its people, celebrates individuality, and recognises those who go beyond the plate.


To help you settle into the role,

full training will be provided

, and during your probation period you will be supported by a

buddy manager

who will guide you through your onboarding and day-to-day responsibilities.

Working Pattern



24 hours per week | 4 days | 6 hours per day



(Exact days to be agreed, Monday-Friday)

Contracted weeks: 39.6 per year (term time only)



What you'll be doing




Your key responsibilities will include,

but will not be limited to

:

Processing payroll information accurately and in a timely manner Handling payroll queries and communicating updates professionally Maintaining and updating employee records Assisting with reporting, compliance, and audit requirements Providing

financial and HR administrative support

as required Supporting the wider team with general administrative duties Managing email enquiries through a central inbox Attending meetings, taking minutes, and following up on actions Ordering stationery and ensuring a tidy, well-organised office environment
