We have a fantastic opportunity for a Payroll Advisor to join our HR team, based at our office in Dalton, Thirsk.
Vacancy Details
In the Payroll Advisor position you will support the wider payroll team to ensure the timely and accurate completion of weekly and monthly payroll across the Severfield group. You will be available to employees and managers across the business, to support and answer payroll queries.
You will be working alongside the wider HR team, including Recruitment to onboard the new starters onto payroll systems, and the Business Partnering team to offboard any leavers. You will also be required to ensure any sickness or absences are recorded accurately with support from Business Partners and line managers.
You will also work with the HRIS team in relation to recording and collating accurate payroll data, records, and reports.
Key Skills & experience
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a HR/Payroll environment and have experience processing weekly and monthly payroll, with a good understanding of compliance with all internal and HMRC processes and procedures. You will need to have excellent attention to detail and strong numerical skills.
