About the Payroll Apprentice role

Our Beverley office are looking for a keen and pro-active learner who has in interest in payroll and data to join the payroll team.


This apprenticeship provides a fantastic opportunity to gain practical experience in payroll processing, whilst working towards the Level 3 Payroll Apprenticeship qualification. As a Payroll Apprentice, you will gain valuable experience in a fast-paced and supportive environment while ensuring compliance with company policies, relevant legislation, and data protection standards. You will support the payroll team with data entry, validation, and reconciliation tasks, and assist with pension uploads. You will also help maintain and update payroll records, ensuring all information is accurate and handled with confidentiality. Additionally, you will be involved in the processing of payroll data, including employee hours, wages, and deductions.

About you




We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

at least 3 GCSE's at grade 4+ (C) including Maths, English strong attention to detail. a keen and proactive learner with an interest in payroll and data. ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism. reliable, punctual, and motivated to develop new skills. good communication skills and able to work well as part of a team. good time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
