Job Description

An excellent opportunity to join the Cakehead family one of the fastest growing cake brands in the UK servicing the "out of home market" as a Payroll Clerk.

This role will see you working in a fast-paced environment, where you will have scope to continue your own development and have great exposure.

Duties:

- Maintaining payroll information by collating, calculating and entering data

- Processing two monthly company payrolls end to end

- Processing pensions, SSP/SMP calculations and documents such as P6, P45, Court Orders, Tax credits, Student Loans etc

- Resolving payroll discrepancies and answering any employee payroll queries

- Maintaining all payroll operations according to company policies and procedures

- Keeping up to date with HMRC and pension submissions including P32

- Produce payroll year end including P60s, P11D etc

- Processing leavers and starters on the system

- Preparing and submitting reports and schedules

- Other ad hoc duties

Requirements

- Ability to meet deadlines - good time management is essential.

- Previous experience gained within a similar role

- Experience of SAGE payroll and Sage 50 or similar accounting software essential

- Good attention to detail

Other Information:

- Based on site (Wellingborough)

- Permanent, part-time

- Core Hours: 9:30 - 2:30 Monday to Friday (some flexibility available)

- 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays (pro rata)
