We're recruiting for a Payroll Controls and Governance Analyst to join us. We're offering a competitive base salary.
Join our Customer Services and Solutions team as a Payroll Controls and Governance Analyst. In this role, you'll help ensure payroll processes run smoothly, accurately, and on time, protecting our customers and maintaining our trusted reputation. You'll work closely with governance, risk, and compliance teams to strengthen controls and deliver excellent outcomes.
What you'll be doing:
Monitoring and reporting on payroll reconciliations and control KPIs
Supporting payroll and reconciliation managers with control attestations and documentation
Shaping and improving control frameworks across core processes and systems
Coordinating the creation and review of reconciliation and operational process guides
Managing reporting on outstanding reconciliations to support balance sheet management
Embedding Conduct Risk principles to deliver good customer outcomes
Building strong relationships with risk and complaints teams to drive accuracy and best practice
Assisting with operational resilience, incident management, and governance-related projects
Qualifications
Who we're looking for:
Knowledge of end-to-end payroll processes and reconciliation management
Understanding of risk and control management principles
Strong analytical skills with experience in reconciliations and reporting
Proficiency in Excel (intermediate to advanced) and dashboard creation
Ability to present information clearly and influence stakeholders
Experience in payroll processing and reconciliations (minimum 2-3 years)
Collaborative approach with a focus on accuracy and continuous improvement
Commitment to delivering good customer outcomes and promoting risk culture
