Payroll Coordinator

Job Description

As a key player in our dynamic HR Shared Services team, and reporting to the HR Shared Services Manager, this position takes charge of processing assigned payrolls promptly and accurately. Additionally, you'll be responsible for fulfilling the administrative tasks from our HR Shared Service Centre, known as our Culligan HR Hub.

Payroll Provision



Hold the role of payroll expert for your allocated payrolls, ensuring each payroll task is executed in line with our agreed-upon monthly schedules. Handle calculations and processing of sick pay, onboarding new team members, managing leaver notifications, and various one-off payments. Deliver accurate payment calculations, detailed breakdowns, and assist team members and managers. Distribute P45s and final payslips to departing team members within each payroll cycle. Verify the accuracy of data (buddy governance) entered into the system by the HR team and managers. Download system preview reports every month to prepare for our review and authorisation processes. Take the lead on the monthly payroll sign-off with key stakeholders, ensuring timely execution with strong governance in place.

HR Administration



Oversee the creation of offer packs, variations of employment packs, and leaver packs Manage central storage for all team member documentation (P files) Handle ticket inbox management, ensuring adherence to defined SLAs while upholding GDPR compliance in the management and sharing of employee and payroll data in alignment with the GDPR Officer and company policy Assist with annual external audit processes, providing support to the finance team as needed.

Continuous Improvement



Conduct governance and quality assessments on payroll and HR functions to uphold exceptional standards and foster ongoing enhancement. Assist in the execution of essential projects as needed.

Requirements



Demonstrable experience in payroll processing and management In-depth knowledge of payroll regulations and compliance standards. Meticulous attention to detail and precision in data entry and calculations. Capable of providing detailed payroll calculation breakdowns and responding to payroll queries Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, along with payroll software applications. Exceptional communication, ability to handle payroll queries and collaborate with stakeholders. Proven ability to work effectively within deadlines while juggling multiple responsibilities. Demonstrated proficiency in managing tasks efficiently while upholding confidentiality. Familiarity with HR processes and HRIS/Payroll systems Payroll certifications (such as CIPP) desirable
