Payroll Coordinator

Fixed Term 18 months, Hybrid, Would consider Part Time, Flexible on working days and working hours

Your new role:



As our Payroll Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring that employees are paid accurately and on time, whilst also maintaining compliance with relevant laws and regulations. This will be achieved by processing the monthly payroll input and making sure accurate data is supplied to our outsourced payroll provider by the deadlines.

You will also act as Administrative support to the HR team, ensuring all data is accurately entered and updated on People Systems and writing and issuing of letters. We are also undergoing a system project to implement a new HR system (NaturalHR) to coordinate with our existing payroll system (Moorepay) so this role would play a great supporting role in this project.

Key Responsibilities:



Process monthly payroll input with precision.

Liaise with outsourced payroll providers to meet deadlines.

Administer employee benefits (P11d) and pension contributions.

Support HR functions with data entry and compliance tasks.

Provide efficient, confidential and professional administrative support to the business

What you'll need to succeed:



Experience in payroll administration and working with payroll software.

Strong Excel skills and knowledge of benefit administration.

Team player with excellent communication skills and the ability to handle sensitive data with confidentiality.

Qualifications as a Payroll Technician or another formal payroll qualification - CIPPS or equivalent (preferred but not essential)

High degree of professionalism, with great interpersonal skills with employees, managers and third parties

Sound decision making, problem solving and analytical skills

Excellent organisational, multi-tasking and prioritisation skills

Awareness/Experience with systems including Moorepay, NaturalHR, Imperago would be beneficial but not essential as full training would be given.

This role is fixed term for 18 months to provide maternity cover. We are open to discussion on working days and hours but would be looking for a minimum of 20 hours per week across 4 days. The role is being offered with hybrid option once successful training and probation (6 months) is completed, for which we would require you to be on site Monday and Tuesday with the rest of your working week to be completed from home should you choose.
