Job Description

SHIFT:

Full Time (38hr week),

Monday-Thursday 7am - 5pm,

24 Days Holiday per annum

JOB PURPOSE:

The primary role for this position will involve carrying out the Pin Through Hole assembly (soldering) on a range of circuit boards. The role will also include other production tasks as required.

MAIN DUTIES:

Soldering Components into a range of circuit boards (PCBs) following assembly drawings.

Performing View and Touch up on Wave Soldered PCBs

Mechanical assembly of products to sub-assembly levels.

Assist when required with SMT process inspection

Perform where required general production work such as preparing items for build and manual tasks following surface mount assembly.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

Previous Soldering experience

IPC-A610 Certification advantageous.

Soldering experience of SMT components advantageous

Recognition of electronic components both PTH and SMT

Excellent attentional to detail.

Good listener and team player.

Methodical, enthusiastic, organised, and able to work on own initiative.

Have a flexible approach to working arrangements. Out of hours working may be required to cover the needs of the business in certain situations.

Pay: From 25,500.00 per year
